Why use a guide?

Most Minecraft questions — how to find diamonds, where slime chunks spawn, how to build a stronghold portal — have non-obvious answers tied to game mechanics you can’t see in-game. The guides on this page explain those mechanics in plain language so you can spend less time wandering and more time playing.

Each guide is written for both Java and Bedrock players unless explicitly noted otherwise, and is updated as Minecraft changes. New guides are added covering mining strategies, world planning, and ways to use SeedLander’s tools to explore and organise your Minecraft worlds.
