About SeedLander
A free Minecraft seed tool for players who want to get more out of their worlds. Map your world, find resources, and plan with your team.
What is SeedLander?
SeedLander is a free online toolkit for Minecraft players who want to get more out of their worlds. Every Minecraft world is generated from a seed — a number that determines where biomes, structures, ores and other features appear. SeedLander reads that seed and shows you what your world contains, without needing to install any mods or upload any files.
Whether you’re looking for the nearest stronghold on your survival server, trying to find diamonds without strip mining for hours, or planning a Nether portal network with your friends, SeedLander gives you the information you need to play smarter.
Who’s behind SeedLander
We’re a small team of software developers, web developers and marketers based in the United Kingdom — all long-time Minecraft players. SeedLander started from a simple need: a proper way to catalogue and share seed information with friends playing on the same server. Existing tools were great for individual lookups, but nothing combined seed analysis with real team coordination.
That gap turned into SeedLander. Every feature here is shaped by real gameplay, real SMP frustrations, and real feedback from the Minecraft community. We test every prediction against real worlds before it ships — if SeedLander says a stronghold is at X,Z, that’s where you’ll find it.
What Makes SeedLander a Complete Minecraft Seed Tool?
SeedLander offers a suite of tools designed around how Minecraft players actually play. Every core tool is free to use, with no account required.
How it works
Every Minecraft world is built from a seed — a number the game uses to decide where biomes, structures, ores and everything else end up. Pick the same seed on the same version and you get the same world, every time. SeedLander shows you what your world will look like without needing to load it up and walk around first.
All the work happens in your browser. SeedLander doesn’t need access to your Minecraft installation, your save files, or your server. You enter your seed, pick your edition and version, and the tools show you the results — nothing is uploaded, your seed data stays with you.

SeedLander provides predicted results for your seed. These predictions are accurate for chunks that were generated on the edition and version you select. However, there are a few situations where predictions may not match what you find in-game:
- If parts of your world were generated on a different Minecraft version, the terrain and structures in those areas may not match current predictions. This is especially common in long-running survival worlds that have been updated across multiple versions.
- Custom world generation settings, data packs, or mods that alter world generation will produce different results from what SeedLander predicts.
- Ore predictions show where the game attempts to place ore clusters. Some attempts may fail if they overlap with air, water, or other features. The ore finder indicates this as a possibility.
SeedLander labels all results as “predicted” to make this clear. The tools are designed to save you time and help you plan, not to guarantee exact outcomes.
Privacy and Your Data
SeedLander is designed with privacy in mind. Seed analysis runs entirely in your browser — your seed is never sent to our servers for processing. If you create an account, your personal data is handled in accordance with UK data protection law. You can read the full details in our Privacy Policy.
